Mother and the Child by Jamini Roy

I did this project in my foundation year, under the module - Color Theory, where I replicated one of the most famous works of Shri Jamini Roy whose artistic originality and contribution to the emergence of modern art in India remains unquestionable. Roy used bold, sweeping brushstrokes while painting and restricted his palette to vibrant color.

I recreated it using only warm and cool color palette.
